When boarding actually opens

Most lines sailing from PortMiami open terminal check-in between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM and require every passenger aboard 60 to 90 minutes before departure. Your cruise documents will also assign a check-in appointment window, which the terminal enforces more strictly than it used to. Arriving hours before your window rarely gets you aboard sooner; arriving after it costs you a place in line.
